Job Overview
An inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Humble, Texas is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a dietitian who is comfortable managing complex nutritional needs and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Responsibilities
- Assess nutritional needs of patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust dietary interventions as needed
- Provide nutrition education to patients and caregivers
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and therapy teams
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and clinical standards
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- Active Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN)
- Texas licensure if applicable
- Inpatient rehabilitation or acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
