Description

Job Overview
A Skilled Nursing Facility in Cuero, Texas is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a PTA who enjoys consistent day shifts and working with a geriatric, post-acute population in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists with implementation of resident treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility interventions
Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Complete accurate and timely daily treatment documentation and progress notes
Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation and nursing teams

Requirements

Active Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license
Skilled nursing facility or post-acute experience preferred
Strong patient-care, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to manage a full SNF caseload efficiently
