Description

Job Overview
A Skilled Nursing Facility in Brady, Texas is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an SLP with experience supporting geriatric and post-acute populations, including dysphagia, cognitive-communication, and speech/language disorders.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Perform dysphagia assessments and recommend diet modifications
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Complete evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation and nursing teams

Requirements

Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
Skilled nursing facility or post-acute experience preferred
Dysphagia management experience strongly preferred
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
