Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Facility: UF Health Rehab Center – Magnolia Parke
Unit: Rehab Magnolia Parke Pediatrics
Cost Center: 0102227519
Location: 4740 NW 39th Pl, Ste D, Gainesville, FL 32606
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 01/12/2026
End Date: 04/11/2026
Shift: 8-Hour Days
Schedule: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week

🧾 Job Responsibilities

Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized Plans of Care (POC)
Provide treatment to children ages birth–21 with diverse diagnoses
Manage medically complex pediatric cases, including SCI, TBI, developmental delays, cognitive impairments, expressive/receptive language disorders, dysfluency, and hearing impairments
Complete electronic documentation and billing accurately and timely
Maintain productivity and effective resource utilization
Collaborate with PTs, OTs, and scheduling teams to maintain a full caseload
Educate students, staff, patients, families, and community partners
Maintain continuing education requirements for licensure
Promote rehab team culture and UF Health expected behaviors

✅ Requirements

Active Speech Language Pathologist license
Pediatric outpatient experience REQUIRED
Experience treating medically complex pediatric populations
Ability to evaluate and treat a wide range of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary rehab setting
