Description

Job Overview
An assisted living and rehabilitation community in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant for an 8-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a PTA who is flexible with day scheduling and comfortable supporting a mixed-level geriatric population in a rehab-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists with implementation of resident treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility interventions
Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Complete accurate and timely daily treatment documentation and progress notes
Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation and care teams

Requirements

Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license
Assisted living, rehabilitation, or post-acute experience preferred
Strong patient-care, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently

Schedule: Day shifts (variable)
Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
