Description

Job Overview
An adult outpatient rehabilitation setting within a hospital district in John Day, Oregon is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a PT who values autonomy, community-based care, and a consistent extended-shift schedule in a rural environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat adult patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training
Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed
Complete accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations and progress notes
Educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary hospital and outpatient care teams

Requirements

Active Oregon Physical Therapist license
Outpatient experience preferred (hospital-based outpatient experience a plus)
Strong orthopedic and functional rehabilitation skills
Ability to work independently in a rural or community-based setting
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
