Description
Unit: PICU - SimpliFi Interviews.
3\2 rotation, no transport call, required to float to comparable pediatric units and float to adult units to TASK ONLY
Clinical Interviews
Active LA/Comp License
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, NRP (Preferred)
Experience Required: 2 years experience. Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN). PIV skills, CVL, telemetry, wound care, drains, wound vacs. Comfortability with titrating: Pressors, Insulin, Heparin, Sedation agents, Pain med drips
Most preferred candidate is cross trained and able to float to Adult ICU, Med/Tele – please request approval to offer if traveler is not comfortable with this.
RN: 1:2
Patient Types: MS, DKA, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac (minimal), Ortho Post-Op: Spinal surgeries, Hips, etc., Neuro: s/p Cranis, EVD drains. No trauma or transplants.
Floating: NICU, occasionally, Adult ICU or Stepdown if traveler has previous experience/skillset
