Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, with a special focus on pediatrics and early intervention. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life by developing personalized therapy plans and providing compassionate patient care. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized tools and clinical observations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on physiological and anatomical knowledge tailored to each patient's needs
  • Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions for pediatric patients, including those in early intervention programs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure holistic patient support
  • Educate patients and their families about speech and language development, therapy techniques, and strategies for ongoing progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and session notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
  • Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices, physiology, and anatomy to enhance patient care quality

Experience

  • Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated expertise in pediatrics and early intervention programs
  • Proven ability to perform patient assessments effectively across diverse age groups
  • Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions
  • Experience applying speech therapy techniques within medical or educational environments
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology is preferred
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as patient care, physiology, and anatomy knowledge
Start Date: 01/06/2026 End Date/Duration: 06/09/2026 Hours/Schedule: 8:35a-4:05p M-F Pay Range: $42-45/hr. Rates are negotiable based on experience
