Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, with a special focus on pediatrics and early intervention. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized tools and clinical observations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on physiological and anatomical knowledge tailored to each patient's needs
- Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions for pediatric patients, including those in early intervention programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure holistic patient support
- Educate patients and their families about speech and language development, therapy techniques, and strategies for ongoing progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and session notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
- Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices, physiology, and anatomy to enhance patient care quality
Experience
- Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated expertise in pediatrics and early intervention programs
- Proven ability to perform patient assessments effectively across diverse age groups
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions
- Experience applying speech therapy techniques within medical or educational environments
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology is preferred
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as patient care, physiology, and anatomy knowledge
