Description
RN - Critical Care at Phoenix Children's Hospital (Phoenix, AZ)
Critical Care Float Pool This assignment will require floating to between CVICU, NICU, and PICU
COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children’s prior to starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the full respiratory virus season.
Start Date 01/05/2025 End Date 03/28/2025.
This assignment will float between our Main and Arrowhead Locations:
• Main Campus 1919 E Thomas Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85016 • Arrowhead, 19007 N. 67th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85308
Days and Nights Available 7a – 7p & 7p – 7a Shift will be decided in the interview. Only RTO discussed in the interview will be pre-approved.
Experience: • 2 years’ experience as an RN in pediatric critical care. • Level III or IV NICU hospital experience preferred. • Children’s hospital experience preferred.
Education Requirements: • Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Certification/License/Registry Requirements: • Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association. • Current NRP certification.
