Travel Registered Nurse – PACU

Location: Fullerton, CA

Shift: Days | 5×8s (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Weekly Pay: $2,899

Job Overview

A PACU Registered Nurse is needed for an outpatient surgery center adjacent to a main acute-care facility. This role requires strong Phase I and Phase II PACU experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in ophthalmology-focused surgical settings. First-time travelers are welcome.

Responsibilities

Provide post-anesthesia nursing care for surgical patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
Deliver Phase I and Phase II recovery care
Perform pre-op assessments and post-op patient education
Manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, and medication administration
Conduct follow-up phone calls as required
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient recovery
Maintain accurate documentation using electronic charting systems

Required Qualifications

Active RN license (California required at submission)
Minimum 1 year of PACU experience
Phase I and Phase II PACU experience required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Experience with pre-op and post-op patient care
Strong skills in cardiac monitoring and IV management
