Travel Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab)

Job Overview

A Registered Nurse is needed in the Electrophysiology Lab to provide specialized procedural nursing care. This role supports cardiac electrophysiology procedures and requires strong clinical assessment skills, collaboration with physicians, and the ability to function independently in a procedural setting.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing EP procedures
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology cases
Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as ordered
Monitor patient hemodynamic status and respond to changes
Document patient responses to treatments and procedures
Coordinate care with technicians and ancillary staff
Educate patients and families on procedures and post-procedure care
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and departmental protocols

Requirements

Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact eNLC)
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
Experience in procedural or specialty nursing preferred
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) required
Ability to function independently after orientation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
