Description

Specialty: CT Tech

Units/Areas: Radiology

Required License: ARRT (CT) or registry-eligible

Required Certifications: BLS

Required Skills: 1 year experience, IV contrast administration, power injectors, biopsies assistance, ALARA techniques, PACS, RIS, radiation protection.

Required Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Schedule: 3x12s, 19:00-07:30, every other weekend. Block scheduling available.

Setting, Bed count, Trauma Level: Hospital or Ambulatory Mobile Unit.

Equipment, Duties, Procedures: CT scans, general diagnostic radiology, sterile equipment setup, patient shielding, image indexing, medical record documentation.

Short Description: Tech will work with a co-worker. Requires ARRT advanced registry in CT. Includes performance of general diagnostic radiology examinations.
