Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) / Tumor Registrar to support cancer registry operations in a remote capacity. This role is responsible for accurate data abstraction, analysis, and management of oncology cases in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Abstract, code, and maintain cancer registry data in accordance with state and national standards
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of oncology data submissions
• Utilize EMR systems to review medical records and extract required data elements
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all applicable regulations
• Collaborate with registry and clinical teams as needed to support reporting requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification (required)
• Associate’s degree or equivalent (minimum 60 college-level credits)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Cancer Registry
• At least 2 years of experience using computer software programs, including Word, Excel, and internet-based applications
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
