Unit Overview

The Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at Medical City Fort Worth is a high-performing cardiac cath lab specializing in advanced electrophysiology procedures. The unit offers a collaborative environment with experienced staff and modern technology.

• Number of Procedure Rooms: 5 Cath Lab rooms
• Total Staff: 25 team members
• EMR Systems: Merge and MAC-LAB

Staffing & Schedule

• Shift: Day shift, 12-hour shifts
• Cath Lab Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:35 PM
• Team Structure: 3–4 person teams per procedure
• On-Call Requirement: None for EP staff

Typical Hiring Profile

• Travel Registered Nurses
• Local CNAs and sitters

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Candidates without this qualification will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Prior EP Lab experience
• Experience with MAC-LAB and CardioLab systems

Candidates with these skills will be given priority consideration.

• Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA)
• Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) ablations
• Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVCs) procedures
