Job Title: ICU/CCU Registered Nurse – Night Shift (Contract)

Shifts: Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM start

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU/CCU Registered Nurse for a night-shift contract at a Level II Trauma Center. The RN will provide high-quality critical care to acutely ill patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure safe, effective patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ICU/CCU patients in accordance with established standards and protocols
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret clinical data, and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Float to other units, including Med/Surg, as needed to support staffing needs
• Maintain compliance with all patient safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU/CCU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Willingness and ability to float to other units as needed
