Unit: Stepdown
Floating is required
Top Diagnosis/Procedures: surgical of all types,
medicals of all types, neuro patients at times.
Common Equipment: bladder scanners, IV
pumps, PCA pumps, SCD's, bipaps, cpaps, optiflows, vapotherms, airvos.
Vasoactive Drip Titration Required - neosynephrine,
amiodarone, cardizem, among a few others
Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:03
