Medical Technologist Travel Position - Houston, Texas

Job Summary

Seeking a Medical Technologist to provide accurate and efficient laboratory testing in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies. The role requires critical thinking, judgment, and leadership in laboratory technology.

Requirements

Specialty: Medical Technologist
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience as a Medical Technologist
Certifications:
- ASCP or AMT certification (must be provided)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Experience in blood bank, MTS gel & tube methods
- Experience with Beckman Coulter hematology analyzers (520 and 690)
- Manual differential, body fluid cell count and differential procedures
- Werfen Top coagulation instrumentation
- Urine microscopic procedures
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday with weekend rotation, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Employment Type: Travel contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
