<h2><strong>Travel RN – Med Surg (7A–7P) | Rutherford, NC</strong></h2><h3><strong>Position Overview</strong></h3><p>The Travel RN – Med Surg role provides high‑quality nursing care to adult medical‑surgical patients in a fast‑paced acute‑care environment. This position requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.</p><h3><strong>Location</strong></h3><ul><li>Rutherford, NC</li><li>Acute‑care hospital setting</li></ul><h3><strong>Shift</strong></h3><ul><li>7A–7P</li><li>36 hours per week, rotating weekends as required by the facility</li></ul><h3><strong>Contract Length</strong></h3><ul><li>13‑week travel assignment</li></ul><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards</li><li>Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans</li><li>Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately</li><li>Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal outcomes</li><li>Document all patient interactions in the electronic medical record</li><li>Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans</li><li>Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards</li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li>Active RN license (state-specific or compact)</li><li>Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience in an acute‑care setting</li><li>BLS certification (required)</li><li>ACLS certification</li></ul>
