Job Summary – Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist Provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures. Assists physicians in radiological imaging, acts as scrub assistant, and maintains sterile conditions throughout procedures. Operates imaging equipment, monitors and documents procedural images and events from the control room. Provides patient care under RN supervision and educates patients and families about the procedure, expectations, and pre/post-procedure physical conditions. Maintains unit orderliness, ensures appropriate stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures. Completes daily, progress, and discharge documentation accurately according to departmental standards. Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, identifies areas for process enhancement, and takes appropriate action to mitigate safety hazards. Promotes the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health and adheres to service behavior standards. Performs additional duties as assigned.
