Position Summary
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or leadership, this role provides direct and indirect resident care to support daily unit operations and ensure a safe, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as assigned
• Take and document vital signs
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Escort and transport residents as needed
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Support unit operations through basic housekeeping and supply upkeep

Schedule
Full-time only

• 8-hour shifts available
  • Days: 5:45am – 2:15pm
  • Evenings: 2:00pm – 10:30pm (10% shift differential)
• Some 12-hour shifts available
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Assistant program
• 6 months CNA experience required; long-term care experience preferred
• Medication Aide experience preferred
• Active Nurse Aide Registry (NAR)
• 40-hour Medication Aide (MAR.40) certification required
• BLS certification preferred at hire; required within 3 months

Skills

• Basic medical terminology knowledge
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a team-based care environment
