Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract in a county jail/correctional facility. This is a local opportunity offering consistent hours in a structured, secure healthcare environment.

 

Compensation

  • Local Rate: $40.00 per hour
  • Travel Rate- Weekly Gross: $1,610.00

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to incarcerated individuals under the direction of an RN or provider
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Perform health assessments, vital signs, and patient monitoring
  • Document care accurately in accordance with facility policies
  • Respond to medical emergencies within the facility
  • Collaborate with custody staff to ensure safe patient care delivery

Requirements

  • Active LPN license
  • Correctional, long-term care, or acute care experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a secure correctional environment
  • Current BLS (if required by facility)
