Description

- Must have IL license in hand

- Must have CVOR and Perfusionist experience of 4+ years

- Required: BLS and CCP

Job duties:

Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) and ECMO/ECLS systems during cardiac and vascular procedures
Monitor and regulate blood flow, oxygenation, anticoagulation, temperature, and acid-base balance
Set up, prime, and troubleshoot heart-lung machines and extracorporeal circuits
Support patient transport requiring cardiopulmonary support
CABG, valve replacements (aortic, mitral), TAVR
Congenital and structural heart repairs (ASD, MAZE)
Off-pump cases converting to bypass
VAD, Impella, and IABP support
Minimally invasive and endovascular cardiac procedures
Hypothermic circulatory arrest and cerebral perfusion techniques
Cardiac and respiratory arrest response
Oxygenator failure, power failure, air embolism
Emergency conversion to CPB
Blood conservation and autologous blood salvage

Preferred machine experience:

LivaNova Essenz heart-lung machine
CentriMag / Cardiohelp ECMO platforms
