Job Overview
A long-term care facility in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is ideal for an RN who is comfortable working extended schedules and providing high-acuity, resident-focused care in a post-acute environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes
- Coordinate care with LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure resident safety and compliance with facility policies and procedures
Requirements
- Active Alaska RN license or compact license (if applicable)
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work an extended schedule
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Day shifts (variable)
- Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
