Cath Lab RN Shift: 0700-01530 Weekends: every other Call would be at minimum 1 day a week can be 2 depending on vacation and sick calls. Weekend call at least 1 weekend a month can pick up more if they want especially when it is 5 weekend months Certifications: ACLS BLS Skills: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab Interventional Cardiac Cath lab Cardiac Implant Closure Device Cardiac Stent Placement Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult IABP Placement/Removal Impella insertion Interventional Catheterizations Left heart catheterization Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring Right heart catheterization Rotablator atherectomy Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR) Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) Valvuloplasty Cardioversion Insertion/Programming of AICDs (Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators) Pacemaker Insertion Tilt Table Study Antiarrhythmics Antihypertensives Emergency Medications IV vasopressors Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring Reversal agents Thrombolytics Assist with Central Line Insertion/management Blood Product Administration IV infusion pumps Starting and maintaining IVs Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG Activated Clotting Time (ACT) Cardioversion Circulate Procedures External Compression Devices (C-Clamp, Sandbags) Infection Prevention Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias Monitoring Procedural Sedation Sheath Removal and Monitoring
