Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in psychiatric or correctional settings
• At least 1 year of experience working as an RN in a traveling capacity
• Strong observation, assessment, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities
• Flexibility to work variable shifts and adapt to changing schedules

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with public health services, case management, or quality improvement activities
• Knowledge of facility policies, procedures, and state regulations
• Bilingual skills or additional certifications in mental health care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license
• Prior experience working in a hospital or forensic psychiatric environment
• At least one year of travel nursing experience in a similar field

Other Requirements:

• Shifts available: Day shift (6:00 am – 6:30 pm) and night shift (6:00 pm – 6:30 am)
• Schedule includes 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, with no fixed schedules
• Must be willing to work at both campuses (4-5 miles apart)
• All time off requests must be submitted and approved in advance
• Compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and regulations

Pay Details:

36 hours: $2,010

48 hours: $2,630

Local rate: $49/hr
