Description
Job Title: PCU RN
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-State of New Mexico Nursing License
OR
-Compact State Nursing License.
-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
-BLS and ACLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
-National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
-Must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during first week of assignment.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Two (2) years of current experience in an Eighteen (18) plus bed telemetry or progressive care unit.
-Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
-Flexibility to adapt to varying clinical settings and patient needs.
-Successful completion of at least one Thirteen (13) week travel assignment.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Experience using Epic EMR.
