PCU Ratios: 1:5 Years of experience REQ: 2 Years Experience Required Previous Charge and Teaching Hospital Experience preferred. First-timers accepted: Y/N Yes
Certs REQ: ACLS BLS NIHSS Skills REQ: Work Settings: MS/Tele Telemetry Cardiac Telemetry ER Holding Neuro Stepdown PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias Telemetry -on the unit monitoring Telemetry- remote monitoring Use of Rapid Response Teams. Cardiovascular: Post Cardiac Angiogram Post MI Pre/Post Cardiac Cath Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery. Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols. Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management. Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management Renal failure. IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Blood Product Administration Central line care/management Phlebotomy Peripheral Line Care/Management PICC line management Starting IVs.
