This unit offers an excellent environment to develop strong nursing and critical-thinking skills while caring for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, and more.You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting alongside an interdisciplinary team, caring for patients with complex and acute neurological needs. As a Joint Commission–accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region, the unit utilizes state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizure disorders.Nurses on this unit work closely with a highly specialized, multidisciplinary team that values clinical expertise, teamwork, and compassion in delivering exceptional patient care.Requirements:<ul><li>Telemetry experience required</li><li>Active RN license (New York State only)</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification</li><li>NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification highly preferred</li></ul>
