Description

NICU Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Location: Escondido, CA
Pay: $2,278/week
Shift: Night Shift, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 02/02/2026 (FEB 2 START ONLY)

Job Description:

The NICU RN will provide specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to respond to neonatal emergencies, and flexibility to float within the NICU network.

Provide care to neonates 28 weeks and up
Perform immediate assessment, resuscitation, and stabilization
Manage ventilated patients and advanced respiratory support
Administer medications and blood products
Care for UAC, UVC, PICC lines, and chest tubes
Support family-centered care and patient education
Float to main NICU and satellite NICUs as needed (mileage reimbursed)

Requirements:

Active California RN license (or ETA to post)
Minimum 3 years NICU experience (Level III or higher)
BLS and NRP required (PALS preferred)
Epic charting experience required
Experience with ventilators strongly preferred
First-time travelers accepted
