Location: Pennsylvania
Preference: Candidates with EPIC patient charting experience

Reports To:

• Unit Director/Manager (primary)
• Clinical Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Coordinator (in absence of Unit Director/Manager)

Position Summary:

The RN is responsible for providing professional nursing care on the unit during the assigned shift. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating the effectiveness of nursing and other treatment measures. The RN ensures high-quality patient care in accordance with current nursing knowledge and best practices.

Experience:

• Preference will be given to those with EPIC patient charting experience
•  
• Minimum 2 years of previous RN experience required

• Functions effectively as a team member and liaison between patients and staff
• Supports and encourages harmonious communication
• Demonstrates strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
• Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times
• Exhibits emotional tolerance, tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and professionalism when interacting with patients, families, and co-workers

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania
• Meets American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS standards; maintains BLS certification every two years

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EPIC patient charting
