Must have VA RN License or Compact License

BLS (must be AHA)
2 years’ experience in Level 1 trauma experience required
Travel experience (at least 1-2 assignments), cannot be first travel assignment
Weekend Requirement- Sat or Sunday- try not to schedule both days of weekend, 2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule period
Call: 4 hrs blocks, 3-4 shifts both weekday and weekend in 6 week schedule
Night rotation as needed by unit depending on shift offered
Holidays- at least 1 holiday
25 OR Rooms
EMR- Epic
cases- 60-80 cases per day
Scrubs provided
Weekend- Usually run 5 to 6 rooms on Saturday and Sunday; all urgent cases on Sunday- 4 rooms run 24/7
Service Lines: Ortho including total joints, OTT; Adults and peds; General surgery cases; Robotics; organ transplants (kidney); ENT, Oral/Maxillofacial, Vascular/Thoracic, Urology, Pediatrics. Neonate & pediatric experience is preferred, as well as trauma experience.
Would prefer candidate to have strong endovascular and robotic experience.
