Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Hartford, CT

Gross Pay: $2,678/week

Start Date: 1/26 or 2/2

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: 11:00a–11:30p (12‑hour shifts)

Position Overview

A high‑acuity Level 1 Trauma Center in Hartford, CT is seeking an experienced Travel ER RN to join their emergency department team. This role offers strong weekly pay, a consistent mid‑day to late‑evening schedule, and the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced trauma environment caring for complex, high‑acuity patients.

Requirements

• Active RN license (CT or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level 1 Trauma ER experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC
• PALS or ENPC required
• Strong triage, critical‑care, and rapid‑response skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high‑volume, high‑acuity ED

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage emergency patients across all acuity levels
• Provide rapid assessment, stabilization, and ongoing care
• Assist with trauma activations and critical interventions
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all trauma and ED protocols
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑moving environment
