Position Details:

Job Title - RN, Correctional
Unit - Correctional
Duration -14 Weeks
Shift -; Day shift: 6:45am-7:15pm
Location - Cleveland, OH, 44113

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in a correctional setting provides comprehensive nursing care to an incarcerated population in accordance with established nursing standards, correctional regulations, and facility policies. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while maintaining safety, security, and confidentiality within the correctional environment.

Job Duties:

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient health status
Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations in accordance with provider orders
Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care as needed
Perform triage and sick-call assessments for acute and chronic conditions
Monitor and manage chronic disease conditions per established protocols

Note: 1 year of correctional healthcare, emergency, med-surg, or acute care nursing
Experience

Requirements:

Experience: 1 year
Certifications: BLS AHA, ACLS AHA, RN License OH
