Travel Physical Therapist Assistant – Home Health (Days)
Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
Assignment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: Late January 2026 (approx. 2 weeks from offer, pending compliance)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a weekday home health travel assignment in Lincoln, NE. This role is ideal for a PTA who values independence, consistency, and work–life balance, with no weekend requirements and a clearly defined daily schedule.
Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy treatments in patients’ homes per established plans of care
Assist the supervising Physical Therapist with implementation of treatment plans
Educate patients and caregivers on mobility, safety, and prescribed exercises
Complete accurate and timely visit documentation and progress notes
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary home health team
Maintain compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Active Nebraska Physical Therapist Assistant license
Home health experience required
Strong documentation and time-management skills
Comfortable working independently in the community
Reliable transportation
