Assignment Details

  • 13-week contract
  • Full-time: 36 hours per week
  • Schedule: Four (4) 9-hour shifts per week
  • Shift hours: 6:45 AM – 4:15 PM
  • Workdays: Monday through Thursday
  • On-call required
  • One (1) position available

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment. The RN will function in both circulating and scrub roles, providing high-quality perioperative nursing care. Strong orthopedic surgery experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide perioperative nursing care in circulating and scrub roles
  • Prepare operating rooms and ensure proper equipment and supplies
  • Maintain sterile technique and adhere to surgical safety protocols
  • Assist surgeons and surgical teams during orthopedic procedures
  • Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and respond to changes in condition
  • Accurately document intraoperative care and procedures
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Active state Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be current)
  • Minimum of 5 years of Operating Room experience
  • Strong orthopedic OR experience required
  • Proficiency in both circulating and scrub roles
  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory)
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

  • Timecards must be completed accurately and according to facility guidelines
