Travel RN Opportunity - Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele Stroke Unit (Heart Failure / Stroke Unit)
• Employment Type: Travel
• Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
• Unit Description:

  • 42-bed unit focused on neurological and cardiac conditions (e.g., congestive heart failure, acute stroke)
  • 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Work alongside cardiologists and neurologists
  • Manage complex neuro-cardiac cases with precision and compassion

Schedule & Hours

• Holidays as required
• Every other weekend
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in nursing
• Licensure: Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH or Red Cross certification
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years nursing experience overall (or 18 months under highest professional license)
  • At least 1 year experience in the specialty (MS/Tele Stroke or related neuro-cardiac nursing)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
