Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a Region Float Pool supporting multiple hospitals within Zone 3 (Denver Metro Area). This role requires high flexibility, strong clinical skills, and comfort floating across a wide variety of units and specialties.
This is a true float role with NO home base facility.

Hiring Process

  • Interview with MedSol Clinical Team only
  • No Unit Manager interview
  • Driver’s License must be submitted
  • 60-mile radius requirement applies

Float & Region Requirements

  • Travelers must float throughout the entire 60-mile zone from the city center
  • Housing must support the ability to float across the full zone
  • NO HOME BASE FACILITY
  • First float assignment will be communicated on or before Monday start date
  • Clinicians must be in-state during orientation week, even if modules are remote

Units Covered Include:

  • General Med-Surg / Telemetry
  • Cardiac
  • Neuro (preferred experience)
  • Oncology
  • Rehab
  • Renal
  • Bariatrics
  • Orthopedics
  • Trauma
  • ED Observation

Patient Population

  • Adults to Geriatrics
  • Diagnoses include (but not limited to):
    • Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho
    • Oncology, Renal, Urology
    • Post-surgical (General Surgery, Appy, GYN)
    • Psych/Detox
    • ENT
    • General Medicine
    • Stable long-term placement patients

Patient Ratios

  • 1:5–6, based on acuity
  • Nurse Aides available

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years recent MS-Tele RN experience
  • Prior Neuro experience preferred
  • Ability to float to:
    • MS-Tele
    • PCU / Stepdown
    • ICU (low-acuity holds only, within skillset)

I currently have been a traveler nurse for over 5 years. This is my far my favorite traveler experience. Onboarding is very easy. Jane and other communicate well. This was an issue in the beginning of my assignment but Jane quickly and nicely happen the issue. I will definitely do an assignment with this place again.
