Shift: Days | 4x10s | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse to support a high-volume cardiac catheterization lab. This role includes circulating, monitoring, and assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, as well as participating in required on-call coverage. Strong Cath Lab experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab RN experience required
  • 1.5 years is a hard stop
  • No first-time travelers accepted
• Active RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• BLS and ACLS required
• Travel experience required
• Ability to float between similar units
• RTO must be submitted with application

Cath Lab Responsibilities

• Circulate and monitor Cath Lab procedures
• Assist with procedural sedation and patient monitoring
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Start and maintain IVs
• Assist with central line management
• Support rapid response and emergency situations

Procedures & Skills

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• PCI and cardiac stent placement
• Left and right heart catheterization
• Swan-Ganz monitoring
• Pacemaker insertion
• IABP and Impella support
• Electrophysiology procedures including ablations and mapping
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
