Description

Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Tech
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Pay: $2,830/week
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: 02/16/2026
Shift: Day 5x8 (07:30–16:00)
Call/Weekend: One weekday on-call shift per week (16:00–07:00) & one three-day weekend per month (Fri 16:00–07:00, Sat/Sun 07:00–07:00)

Description:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech for advanced IR procedures in an acute care hospital. This role includes support in IR and Cath Lab settings, performing imaging, patient prep, and assisting with interventional procedures using Philips OmniDiagnost Eleva and Allura FD20 equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform advanced IR procedures including embolizations, TIPS, stent placement, IVC filters, catheter/drain exchanges, and central venous access.
Maintain sterile field, prep access sites, and manage equipment inventory.
Assist with complex imaging procedures in both IR and Cath Lab environments.
Respond to on-call assignments and weekend coverage.
Follow isolation precautions and use rapid response/code teams as needed.

Required Qualifications:

ARRT (R) Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years IR tech experience (first-timers accepted)
Epic charting system experience
Weekend and on-call availability
