Description

Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay: $3,377/week
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8 (08:00–17:00)

Description:
Join UCSF Health as a Travel Ambulatory RN providing care in HIV primary care and urgent care clinics. Deliver direct patient care, coordinate complex cases, provide education and coaching, support medication management, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement.

Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments, vital signs, lab interpretation, and medication reconciliation.
Assist with procedures including dressing changes, sterile trays, and specimen collection (venipuncture, urine, throat, capillary).
Conduct telephone triage and pharmacy/patient refill requests.
Support harm-reduction–based care and complex patient populations.

Required Qualifications:

CA RN License
BLS Certification
Minimum 6 months ambulatory care experience
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Epic charting system preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

HIV/AIDS Certified RN (ACRN)
Experience with HIV and/or substance use disorder populations
