Description
Title: RN – NICU
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Pay: $2,470/week
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week (3 days/week, 7 PM – 7 AM)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated NICU RN to provide care for critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The RN will deliver direct patient care, monitor physiological data, administer medications and IV infusions, and work closely with the healthcare team to ensure safe and high-quality nursing care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to assigned NICU patients
- Document patient responses and interventions; note changes in physician orders
- Assist physicians in examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products
- Educate patients’ families on care plans and procedures
- Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, and procedures
- Ability to coordinate and evaluate nursing services effectively
- Oklahoma RN License (or multistate compact RN license)
- BLS and NRP (AHA)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills
Education:
- Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
