Description

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Essential Job Details Imaging Associates of Alaska (Palmer Location) - CT Tech / Xray Tech Modality & Specialty CT Tech - Siemens Experience (Exceed Somaris VB10 software) Specific Qualifications Needed Experience with Exceed Somaris VB10 software and ARRT License Length of Contract 13 Week Contract Shift 4x10H Day Shift - Candidates must be willing to float if needed between Palmer, Eagle River and Anchorage. Hours/Week? 40 Submission Requirements/ MINIMUM experience required to submit o Must have ARRT License o Candidate must have BLS Card o Candidate can have RTO but must be in submittal o SUBMISSION PACKET: ARRT License, Resume with SPECIFIC SIEMENS EXPERIENCE. Additional Details Candidates must be positive and care a lot about providing the best patient care. They are hoping to find the best possible culture fit candidates / and not just any candidate.
