Job Description:
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Med Surg RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical needs. The Med Surg RN plays a vital role in delivering safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to medical and post-operative patients
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as ordered
Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond promptly to complications
Coordinate and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and discharge planning
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety and quality standards
Support admissions, discharges, and patient transfers

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred
Strong assessment, time-management, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to manage multiple patients in a high-acuity environment
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
