HIGHLIGHTS:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Requirements: 12hr Nights (7p-7a)
• Weekends/Holidays: Up to every other weekend
• Float Requirements: Flexible to float to other WakeMed EDs as needed
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
• Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: NC or Compact RN, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC & ENPC
• Minimum Experience: LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED; at least 5 years of ED experience required; previous travel experience required
• Charting Experience Required: EPIC experience required
• Required Skillset: Emergency/Trauma/Critical Care
• Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
• Scrub Colors: Red/Black/Gray. No designs unless working Pediatric areas. T-shirt, short or long sleeved, may be worn under SCRUB top. T-shirt must be red/black/gray/white solid color only. No hoodies or fleece jackets. Scrub jackets are fine.
• REQUIRED EDUCATION: Associate Degree or Certificate
• PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
• HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS: Holiday rotation
• Travel experience is highly preferred
• There is no radius rule, pay rate is the same for travel/local contracts

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• COVID Vaccine Requirements: COVID/BOOSTER Vaccination is required unless medical/religious exemption is applicable.
• GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
