Work Experience

Allied Health Professional (1 year)

Description

Responsibilities:
? Providing safe, advanced methods for extra corporeal circulation for the Open Heart patient
? Providing cardio-pulmonary bypass management
? Set-up and operation of the extra-corporeal circuit and advanced life support systems
? Set-up and calibration of physiological monitoring, auto-transfusion
? Tandem Heart, RIS, adult ECMO and maintaining proper perfusion documentation

Requirements:
? Bachelor's Degree plus graduation from a CAHEA approved perfusion training program
? Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
? BLS required
? NYS License
