Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Assignment

Overview

A facility in Columbus, GA is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 12‑week travel assignment. This role requires strong competency in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, along with Trauma Level II experience. Candidates must meet strict compliance requirements and complete a clinical screen prior to manager review.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: February 9, 2026
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: 5×8‑hour days, 07:00–15:30
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements:
  • 4‑person call team
  • 2 rotating teams
  • Every other weekend
• Floating: Within facility and within scope of practice
• Scrub Color: Provided by facility
• RTO: Maximum of 7 days, must be submitted with profile
• Locals: Accepted at same rate
• Compliance: Full compliance required; non‑compliance results in 2‑week start delay
• Orientation: Non‑billable hours based on contract length

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• First‑time travelers not accepted
• Must have experience in:
  • Diagnostic Cath Lab procedures
  • Interventional Cath Lab procedures
  • Trauma Level II environments
• Patient population: Adults to geriatrics
• Ability to work in a 2‑room Cath Lab setting

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS
• ACLS
• CCI RCIS
• State license (if applicable)
• ARRT (R) accepted where applicable

Unit Systems

• Epic
• Pyxis
• SBAR communication

Holiday Requirements

Travelers must follow the facility’s major holiday policy:

• If 1 major holiday falls within the assignment → traveler works 1
• If 2 major holidays fall within the assignment → traveler works both
• If 3 major holidays fall within the assignment → traveler works 2

Major Holidays:   Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day
