Cath Lab Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

A Cath Lab RN is needed for a 13‑week assignment supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The role requires strong clinical competency, reliability, and the ability to work in a high‑acuity cardiovascular environment.

Scheduling & Shift Details

• Start Date: 2/26/2026
• Shift: Days
• Schedule Options: 4×10s or 5×8s (traveler selects at offer)
• Weekend Requirement: Every 4 weeks
• On‑Call: 1–2 nights per week
• Orientation: 8 hours
• RTO: Max 5 days, must be submitted at profile upload

Key Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patients per protocol
• Continuous hemodynamic monitoring
• Conscious sedation administration
• Mix and maintain IV/IC infusions
• Notify physician of patient status changes
• Assist with interventional procedures
• Phase I post‑procedure recovery

Required Experience & Skills

• 2+ years CURRENT Cath Lab RN experience
• 2+ years cardiac diagnostic & interventional experience
• STEMI & STEMI call experience
• Peripheral vascular experience
• Moderate sedation certification (highly preferred)
• EKG & hemodynamic interpretation proficiency
• Conscious sedation experience
• IV competency
• EP experience (highly preferred)
• Must have reliable attendance history
• Must have personal vehicle

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active NY RN License (no pending)
• BLS
• ACLS
• New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License

• EPIC experience strongly preferred

• Skills checklist (within 1 year)
• 1 supervisory reference (within last 2 years)
• All licenses/certs uploaded
• Permanent address must match state ID
• Travelers from excluded NY counties cannot be considered
• 14‑panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer
• Welle or CPI de‑escalation training required
