Description

Specialty: X-Ray Technologist (First-Time Travelers OK)

Units/Areas: ED, ICU, Acute, & Outpatient, 2 year minimum required

Required License: DC License in hand (for DC locations) OR MD/Compact License (for MD locations)

Required Certifications: ARRT(R), BLS (AHA)

Required Skills: OR/C-Arm, Barium Studies (Enema, Swallow, UGI), Myelography, Portable/Bedside imaging, Trauma (Upper/Lower), Contrast Administration, Radiation Safety

Required Education: ARRT Registered

Schedule: 3x12s; Friday-Sunday; 1900-0730; 36 hours per week

Setting, Bed count, Trauma Level: MedStar Facility (Acute/ICU/ED)

Equipment, Duties, Procedures: Operate GE and Siemens equipment; perform routine and trauma radiography; C-Arm in OR; bedside portables; use of PACS; independently manage high-volume caseload

EMR: Facility-specific (Sitel modules required upon hire)

Short Description: Night shift X-ray role for MedStar Health. Weekend-only schedule (Fri-Sun). First-time travelers accepted. Requires license in hand at submittal and 2 years of experience.
