Assignment Details

Shift: 8-hour mids, Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
On Call: 2–3 call shifts per month (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week

Level III Trauma Center
Beds: 375 licensed beds
EMR: Epic
COVID Vaccine: Required

Unit & Work Environment

Department: Imaging / CT
CT Suites: 3
Volume: 100+ patients per 24 hours
Evening/Night Caseload: ~90% ER & ICU patients
Staffing:
- Up to 5 CT Techs during business hours
- 3 CT Techs after 5 PM
Support: Lead CT Tech, Respiratory Therapy, Hospitalists, Radiology MD/PA coverage

Equipment & Technology

CT Scanners: Siemens (Dual Source CT 128 Flash, Definition 64, Definition Edge 128)
Injector: MedRad
PACS: Change Healthcare
IV Pumps: Alaris
Medication Dispensing: Pyxis

Prior Siemens experience preferred but not required

Requirements

Licensure:
- ARRT (R & CT)
- Washington State license
Certifications: BLS
Experience:
- Minimum 2 year CT experience in a large Level III (or higher) acute care facility
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Cardiac CT experience preferred
- Candidates with only critical access experience will not be considered

Traveler Eligibility

First-time travelers accepted with appropriate acute-care experience
Acute care experience required

Scheduling & Orientation

Orientation:
- NEO + 1 week in department (may extend if needed)
Weekends: Fixed schedule (varies by posting)
Holidays: Every other
RTO: Requires manager approval
Floating: Rare; typically does not float

Additional Details

Scrubs: Any color, professional appearance (no logos/designs)
Parking: Free
