Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive Med Surg nursing care to pediatric and adult patients
Manage post‑op ortho, trauma, and surgical patients
Interpret and monitor telemetry rhythms
Administer medications, including mixing meds when required
Titrate drips:
- Heparin
- Set‑rate: Cardizem, Amiodarone
Initiate pressors (e.g., norepinephrine/levophed) for deteriorating patients prior to transfer
Work collaboratively with CNAs, providers, and virtual care team
Participate in floating as needed (helping hands/safety attendant)
Document accurately in EPIC

Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years recent Med Surg experience Skills Required: Pediatric Med Surg Post‑op orthopedics Telemetry interpretation Respiratory therapy device management Chest tubes, drains, ostomies Wound care Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS Licensure: Idaho RN license or Compact RN license Education: BSN not required Charting: EPIC

It comes complete with marching bands, Basque dancers, western cowboys, wheels and wagons, concluding with a Street Party on Town Square.
